Brompton Cemetery

One of the magnificent seven London cemeterys. I’ve drawn here several times and find the place hugely atmospheric and strangely peaceful with elegant colonades, a distinctive chapel and a grand central avenue down the centre. Emmeline Pankhurst and Dr John Snow, who proved that cholera was spread by infected water, are buried here.
